Three years ago, I made the leap from New Zealand to London, and these have truly been some of the most rewarding years of my life. I've worked hard to build a life here that I’m incredibly proud of. Unfortunately, my visa is about to expire, and the cost of renewing it is more than I can manage on my own. I'm doing everything I can to stay in this city I love, but I need your support.
All profits from this event will go directly towards covering the expenses of my visa renewal, in the hopes of keeping me here in the UK. We’ve curated an unforgettable lineup of iconic UK DJs, bringing you everything from Baile Funk and Dancehall to RnB, Afrobeats, Amapiano, and more—all set in the legendary venue Peckham Audio. It’s going to be a night to remember. I’d be so grateful for your presence and support.
Let’s make this a beautiful night together. <3
An evening of cutting-edge electronic rhythms and lush ambient textures, blending IDM-inspired explorations with immersive soundscapes.
MARÇAL XIRAU
Marçal Xirau is a Catalan experimental electronic musician based in London. He has released four EP’s and one LP since 2017. He is currently presenting his next upcoming album “Unveiled”. The first single titled "Hidden", released on October 25, 2024, is a dreamy lullaby that offers an introduction to the sonic and emotional depth of the album. With its slow, deliberate build, "Hidden" intertwines moments of introspection with bursts of aggression. The single's delicate yet powerful sound blends ethereal melodies with raw emotional energy.
The producer has presented his work in several European festivals, such as Sónar. Having an electric guitar background, the musician seeks for expression and depth through his unique use of digital production tools. The musician creates immersive sets of original music, bending the barrier between ambient music, pop, experimental electronica and abstract high pitch melodic synth music.
SARA RAHMAN
Composer, musician and interdisciplinary researcher, Sara Rahman uses voice, cello and an array of pedals to create ambient and electronic songs that are as intimate and atmospheric as inspired by experimental pop.
SOBORGNOST
“Soborgnost is sci-fi dance punk at the intersection of vaporwave, minimal wave, disco dub, industrial, EBM, proto-house, drone and noise. Using a hardware sampler to emulate dub mixing, looping post-punk style basslines with chuggy, lo-fi beats. Warped analogue textures are added with cassette tape manipulation, electro magnetic frequency transmitters, shortwave radio, harsh noise generator and dub sirens. For fans of Hype Williams, ESG, Delroy Edwards, Mark Stewart & The Maffia, Adrian Sherwood, Sneaks and Lord Tusk”

In a world of infinite pieces, each distinct in its shape, color, and story, ARC is a tribute to the bridges we build between individuality and unity. An arc symbolizes connection—between moments, people, and ideas. It is the curve of a journey, the trajectory of transformation, and the radiant path of light through stained glass.
Each artist, like a unique fragment, brings their own heritage, rhythm, and soul—together forming a luminous arc that spans across diversity. Alone, each piece is unique; united, they create a greater whole illuminated by the interplay of differences.
ARC invites us to explore the connection and transitions—where sounds, styles, and voices meet, overlap, and evolve into something profound. It is a reminder that in the grand mosaic of life, the arcs we create are the bridges that bring us closer, revealing the bond between our shared existence.

Al-Qasar debut their newest album in London on Dec. 13th.
UNCOVERED (Out November 27 via Wewantsounds), tackles songs from the Western pop to the Arab folk repertoires. Cultures collide, and the result of this fission is Depeche Mode sung in Turkish, Sean Paul in Arabic, Nubian legend Hamza El Din with fuzz guitars and iconic Lebanese composer Wadih El Safi through space echo.
Produced between Tunis, Lisbon, Los Angeles, London, and Paris, UNCOVERED tells the story of a world in flux, its ancestors deep in the past but its eyes set on the zeitgeist. It’s retro-futurist Arab psychedelia with a foot in the Mojave and the other in the Sahara.
Al-Qasar’s music never wavers, pulling from the hypnotic roots of North African trance and threading it into a fabric with the elaborate beauty of Arab scales and the shock and thrill of rock’n’roll. The collective just wrapped a World tour in support of their first full length, Who Are We (Glitterbeat Records), which reaped global praise. In the past two years, the band performed on 5 continents and at major festivals such as Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Sziget, Reeperbahn, and WOMADs and collaborated with rock’n’roll legends Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Jello Biafra (DeadKennedys).
Mid Week Session invites you to slip out of the ordinary and into the pulse of the extraordinary. Get ready for a night where the energy of the underground comes alive, turning a Thursday into an unforgettable experience, layered on the untamed energy of hardgroove and the euphoric charge of electro.
We will start things off with DANI DE LARA weaving beats that spark energy and exploration in equal measure, with unpredictable moments of joy and bliss layered on a hardgroove soundscape, to attain collective ecstasy.
Continuing the night we have SIBILØ who has already played with us before and has mastered the craft, with a strong focus on groove and razor-sharp selections that balance precision and play.
Up next comes ANTØNIØ, the co-founder of @fragment_ldn who will craft relentless, hypnotic grooves to move both body and soul. This will be a solid set not to be missed.
Our Resident DJ TOOTHTAXI comes next, the UK duo have been making noise in the underground scene playing at HTBX, Glitchtopia or Sextou. These two never fail to deliver bold rhythms keeping you on your toes gracefully combining elegance and playfulness. Expect a lot of tattoos and blackwear, as these two take you on a journey of hard groove and techno with their unique underground style.
LIZAZA, a regular of the London underground scene will close the night off curating moments of hard techno, trance and a wide variety of other styles to elevate the night’s journey and keep us busy, those planning to leave the session early should plan again.
The goal is to get together and ride the wave of the week, (tying past and future) to ease transition into Fridays. This isn’t just another party; it’s a moment suspended in time—a loving junction of sound, space, and motion. Above all, Mid Week Session is an inclusive community of individuals.
If you don't have enough money to purchase tickets and want to come get in touch with us. Make sure to give us a follow @midweeksession
See you there!

New York's Shapes party returns to London and for the first time at Peckham Audio.
If you haven’t attended before (Yeah, all the London one's have sold out), and not sure what to expect, we play everything from RnB to Dancehall, Hip Hop to Afrobeats, Amapiano, House, Funky, a touch of 80's Soul and so much more. Shapes is a timeless party. It’s not old school, and it’s not mad young. You'll hear Kendrick, to Vybz Kartel, to Doechii to Evelyn King, to Dave, to Asake, to GloRilla, to Zhane.. Simply good times, good DJs and good people. It doesn’t matter if you’re mid 20’s, 30’s or 40’s. The plan is to bring some of that New York club vibe to London. Which still feels kinda rare in London these days (but what do I know). So this is Shapes, that New York meets London energy, and we'd LOVE to see you there.
Wrecked Exotics is a performance night taking place at Peckham Audio on Tuesday 3rd December. The event is a fundraiser for the Goldsmiths Fine Art MFA degree show this summer, so we're selling tickets for £6. However, we'd love to have a full house so please feel free to come on down and donate what you can! Also a great opportunity to support a grassroots music venue like Peckham Audio.
The phrase Wrecked Exotics originates from the name of a now dormant lo-fi website, archiving photographs of luxury sports cars that have been involved in dramatic and absurd collisions.
Asking the invited performers to respond to this phrase, the event will embody a carnivalesque atmosphere through a collision of disparate genres and materials. Situating the event within a nightclub expands on the idea of the heterotopia; a space that offers up fantastical, hedonistic, and antagonistic moments that can feel so raw yet are completely fleeting.
Think of a chipped manicured nail. Think of a burnout Lamborghini. Think of a glob of spit trying to percolate on a cold marble surface. Welcome to Wrecked Exotics.

Sweætshops (live)
sweætshops is a multidisciplinary artist + multi-instrumentalist. Under the guise of an impersonal corporate entity their practice creates allegories from the waste of consumerism + pop culture to highlight social undercurrents we lack a terminology for + therefore struggle to address. Blurring the distinctions between “high-brow” + “low-brow” culture, authenticity + artifice and truth + falsity using different configurations of live-art, sound, music, public disruption, film, AI + audience participation.

For the next installment of the WIABO charity event series, we are throwing a winter rave special at Peckham Audio to raise money exclusively for Nutshell, a charity offering mental health support to the family members and friends of trans and non-binary people.
Made up of sisters Lucy and Kitty and Dad, Nicky, a transgender woman, Nutshell was created as an outcome of their own experience which highlighted the lack of support and information available to individuals transitioning or those impacted by the courageous decision to do so. Nutshell funds therapy with one of their highly qualified therapists and uses their platform to educate and raise awareness around transgender issues.
WIABO's resident DJs select from progressive house, techno, trance, UKG, bassline, italo disco, acid, breaks and everything in between. Expect high energy and a guaranteed good night for a great cause.

One of the great cult bands of our time, Guided By Voices hit their critical peak in the mid 1990s, breaking through from obscurity with their 1994 lo-fi classic Bee Thousand - a record that regularly appears towards the top end of any "top albums of the 90s" lists in the music press and rightly so. A dream-like collection of twenty short, spontaneous bursts of visionary creativity, it is a truly unique album then, as now.
After the highly successful annual "EuroHeedfest" show at Peckham Audio earlier in the year, 30 years on from the release of Bee Thousand, UK outfit Band Of Pricks - named lovingly after GBV hit Game Of Pricks and formed at the request of fans to play to European audiences due to the real band's reluctance to tour outside the US - will be returning to the venue in November to play two live sets - a set of 90s GBV tracks from across the decade, plus Bee Thousand in its entirety.
Band of Pricks is Dan, Sam and Amyas of critically acclaimed late 00's Brighton band 4 or 5 Magicians, plus Ash Babb of Stuart Braithwaite's Silver Moth on drums. Guest performers and collaborators have included Thomas White of Electric Soft Parade/The Waeve/Sea Power; Carl Dalemo and Bjorn Agren of Razorlight; and the BAFTA award winning actor and director Paddy Considine.
Entry to the show will be open to all but with a strongly suggested donation direct to the band's Paypal account: @danBOP
Please donate whatever you can afford as the band has travel and rehearsal costs to cover. If you appreciate what the band is doing and your financial circumstances allow - please be generous! If circumstances do not allow, no hassle. Upon making a donation, your name will be added to the door list for the show. Please put this through as a personal transfer if possible, so Paypal don't take a cut of the donation!
Thank you :)
